Setting up your 1st Reef Aquarium

Incase you have ever thought of having a spectacular reef aquarium in your home, but really think you lack the hands on time, funds, or ability necessary, time to rethink it. Follow the 4 easy steps taken by novice aquarists on our site over a time period of just 10 weeks and you can enjoy the colorful beauty of a reef aquarium in your home


The 1st week -  Assembling Aquarium and Cure the Live Rock

The 3rd week : Protein Skimmer and little kriters

The 5th week put in your first corals
  • 50 gal Seachem Reef Salt
  • Corals - Contains Button Polyp, Yellow Colony Polyp, Hairy Mushroom Coral, and Bullseye's

The 8th week put some aquacultured corals
  • Silver Branch Pumping Xenia, Green Starburst Polyp, Spaghetti Finger Leather Coral, Toadstool Mushroom Leather Coral, Taro Tree Coral, Cauliflower Colt Coral.
The 10th week add fish
-  Add some Cleaner Shrimp,  Hawaii Feather Dusters with the following fish
  • Ocellaris Clownfish
  • Fridmani Pseudochromis
  • Six-line Wrasse
  • Green Chromis

  1. Prepare fresh water by dechlorinating it, mixing in the salt, and pre-heating it.
  2. Feed New Era fish food.
